Learning more about Jesus and His teachings is a life-changing experience that can bring peace, hope, and joy to your life. It's all about building a personal relationship with Him and learning His teachings
Jesus knows your pain and He wants to be there with you through everything you face
Jesus wants you to know Him, be your advocate, your provider - your ultimate best friend. He also has a plan for you and wants to help you as you walk through life. In fact, He said in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has amazing plans for your life, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” And the Bible says that God loves you so much that He gave His only Son—Jesus Christ—so you can have eternal life with Him!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
— John 3:16-17 (NIV)
The problem is that we are humans and we’ve made mistakes (Romans 3:23). Big or small, the Bible calls these mistakes “sin” and even one sin keeps us from having a relationship with God, and eventually leads to death. (Romans 6:23). But there is good news! Through Christ, you have hope! Jesus is waiting with open arms to save you—all you need to do is turn away from sin and towards Him (the Bible calls this repentance), and He’ll forgive you completely. When you do this, you’re giving Jesus all your brokenness, and in exchange He gives you everything He has for you: all His righteousness (right-ness), peace and healing for your heart, a restored relationship with Him, and a fresh start in life.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
— Romans 3:23 (ESV)
God created you…He designed you in His image! And before you were even born, Jesus died for you, to save you from all your sin—past, present and future. He knew the choices you would make, and He chose to save you anyway! No matter what you’ve done or been through, He loves you deeply and wants to have a real, honest relationship with you.
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us..”
— Romans 5:8 (NIV)
Jesus was God’s perfect son (without any fault) and yet He chose to take on all of our sin and die for us. For you! Then God raised Him from the dead and He became the only way to be saved.
Knowing Jesus is simply recognizing your need for Him, believing that He died and was resurrected for you… and inviting Him to be your friend, your advocate, your savior.
“I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.”
— John 14:6 (NIV)
